Leslie James Johnson was the son of James Johnson and Esther (Pearson) Johnson. He had a sister, Helen Alma, who was born a year after he died.

Leslie James, the six year old son of Mr. and Mrs. James Johnson of the Carpenter location died last Sunday after a brief illness. The cause of his death was pneumonia which came on suddenly after a number of complications that sapped the boy's strength.
The little fellow was a sweet child and his death is a hard blow to the sorrowing parents. The funeral occured on Tuesday last.
