Michael M. Isner was born 1732 in Fishbach, Bavaria. He married Ann Maxwell Sep 23 1760 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. He was the first of the Isner family to settle in what is now Randolph County, West Virginia. He was a Revolutionary War Patriot. He is buried on his farm. From Elkins, take the Beverly five-lane (US 219/250 South) for 1.1 miles; it is on the left side of the road above the car lot.
