Mrs. Thos. Bosanko

Mrs. Thomas Bosanko departed from this life last Monday morning at 7:00 o'clock after a year's suffering with cancer of the stomach. During the last month her sufferings hae been soothed as much as possible with narcotics as her sorrowing family sat patiently beside her bed waiting for death to relieve her. The death angel came after a period of quiet and took with it the soul of the patient sufferer.
Elizabeth Thomas was born at Prospidnick, Cornwall, Engl, July 14, 1845. Her age at death being 65 years, 2 mo., 5 days. She was married in 1864 to Thomas Bosanko in England and came to this country and joined her husband at Lake Linden, Mich., 1875. Seven children were born to them, five now living, four daughters and one son. The family came to Crystal Falls in 1887 and made this city their home since that date. She has been in poor health for over six years and two years ago was stricken with the fatal malady. She had been confined to bed since Christmas.
Mrs. Bosanko was a member of Armenia Rebekah lodge and the funeral was held under the auspices of that society last Wednesday afternoon.
Rev. Roberts of Iron Mountain preached the funeral sermon at the M. E. church which was well filled with the old neighbors and friends of the deceased. The remains were born to their last resting place in the local cemetery, followed by a large procession of neighbors and friends anxious to pay their last sad tribute to their dead friend.
The following friends and relatives from out of town were present:
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hosking, Mrs. and Mrs. Richard Thomas, Joe Thomas, Mrs. John Thomas, Mrs. Holland, Mrs. Irving, Mrs. Shields, Lelian Holland, Wm Uren and Grover Holland all of Iron Mountain; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Oates of Iron River.
