Janie Benton Inman, 74, of Evergreen, died Friday at her home. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Evergreen United Methodist Church, the Rev. Jim Hines officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Surviving are her husband Tilmoth H. Inman Sr., of the home; three sons, Tilmoth H. Inman Jr. of Blowing Rock, Steven L. Inman of Chadbourn and William Page "Fox" Inman of the home; two sisters, Margaret B. Phillips of Ayden and Ann B. Kolantis of Virginia Beach, Va.; three brothers, Loraine P. Venton Jr. of Evergreen, James Rufus Benton of Roxboro and William B. Benton of Orrum; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
