Ottoville Woman Died Tuesday Morning
Funeral services were held Thursday morning at nine o’clock in the Immaculate Conception Church at Ottoville for Mrs. Louise Kemper who died at the home of her son, Herman Kemper, Tuesday morning at five forty-five. She had been ill six months.
Mrs. Kemper was born at Ottoville on May 23, 1865, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lambert Schulte. She was eighty-one years of age and resided in the Ottoville community all of her life.
In 1885 she was married at Ottoville to Henry Kemper who died April 23, 1937. The following children survive: Herman, with whom she made her home; Mrs. Theresa Didion, Ft. Wayne, Ind.; Mrs. Elizabeth Hoehn, Dearborn, Mich.; and Mrs. Regina Hoehn, Ottoville. Two sisters. Mrs. Anna Mittelkamp, of Ottoville; and Mrs. William Ruen, Cloverdale; fifty-two grandchildren; and thirty-one great-grandchildren, also survive. She was preceded in death by three daughters and three brothers.
Rev. Henry Gerwert, pastor of the Ottoville parish, officiated at the last rites, and burial was made in the church cemetery.
