Doil Raylin Crabtree, 78, of Pasadena Texas went to Heaven early on the morning of March 23rd, 2011. He was born in Jamestown, Arkansas on March 6th 1933 to William Floyd and Aurelia Crabtree. He grew up in Arkansas and graduated from Southside High School. He worked for Ideal Bakery as a young man, married and had two sons. He later married Joyce Webster and they moved to Pasadena where he worked as a pipe welder until his retirement thirteen years ago.

Doil, or Pawpaws as he was known by his grandchildren, loved woodworking, gardening and studying his Bible. He was a devoted member of Southside Church of Christ where he worshipped, fellowshipped and served his community.

Survivors include his sons, Bruce Mikel Crabtree and wife Lesa, Roger Lynn Crabtree, his sister Flodean Bolton and husband Cecil, brother James Clayton Crabtree and wife Edith, grandchildren Ashley Wright and husband Jarrod, Amanda Gernander and husband Scott, one great-grandchild Kayley Wright and many beloved nieces and nephews. He is also survived by Joy Webster Adkins of Batesville Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Joyce, and one brother, William Crabtree.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 26th at Niday Fairmont Funeral Home located at 6777 Fairmont Parkway in Pasadena. Visitation will be at 1:00 pm and the service will be at 2:00 pm. Obituary provided by the Niday Funeral Home.
