MRS. MABEL MARKS GRASSICK, 78, widow of Alex Grassick, formerly of 331 East Fourth Street, died Tuesday afternoon at the Paramore Nursing Home following an extended illness.

She was born February 22, 1886 in Mansfield and lived here all her entire life. She was a member of the First English Lutheran Church.

Surviving are two sons, Paul Grassick, Bellville, RD 3, and William Grassick, Lexington, Kentucky; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Marie Bell, 511 Glendale Blvd; a son Robert M. Grassick died last year.

The body was removed to the Wappner Funeral Home where services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m., conducted by Rev. Michael B. Goldner, pastor of St. Luke's Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the Mansfield Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
