Oldest child of John & Minnie Bramlett was a daughter, Ruth Inez Bramlett, who died five days before her first birthday. No legible tombstone found for this child.
In about 1913, John Bramlett got his first (and only) job away from the farm - with the L&N Railroad. As result, the Bramlett family lived in several different towns between Murphy, NC and Marietta, GA. Mr. Bramlett never looked for another job and received an award for fifty years of continuous service with the L&N Railroad.
