Survivors include two daughters, Danielle Campbell of Scottsburg, Indiana and Hope Frank of Seymour, Indiana; a son, Joshua Akers of New Albany, Indiana; his mother & stepfather, Bernadene & Fred Niewedde of Crothersville, Indiana; three sisters, Pam Akers-Campbell of Crothersville, Indiana, Nena Akers-Elam (Donnie) and Shelly Barrett both of Scottsburg, Indiana and three grandsons, Dominic Akers, Jaiden & Ethan Campbell.
