Obituary:
Mrs Clara Elizabeth Taylor, 74, of Newton Hamilton died last evening in the Yohn Convalescent Home. Mrs. Taylor was born at Dyr Run, Franklin County, Oct. 17, 1889, a
daughter of the late Enoch and Sarah Gamble Mascon. She was the widow of Bruce A. Taylor. The following children survive: Marlyn E. and Blaine W. Taylor and Mrs. Charles (Mary) Stoner of Newton Hamilton; Mrs Melvin (Thelma) Fagan of McVeytown R.D.2; Richard M. Taylor of Mattawana; Mrs. Carl
(Hazel) Markey of Warren, Ohio; Mrs. William (Helen) Houck of
McVeytown; and Robert B. Taylor of Mount Union. Twenty-eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren are living. Mrs. Taylor was a member of the Newtown Hamilton Methodist Church.
Services will be held in the Clark Funeral Home at Mount Union Sunday at 2 O'clock in charge of the Rev. Glenn Barner. Interment will be made in the Gilboa Cemetery at Shirleysburg R.D. Friends may call at the funeral home anytime after noon on Saturday.
