Dorcilla Francille "Fran" Feild, of Lampasas died Nov. 23, at Spring Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 88. She was born Aug. 22, 1923, in Waco, the daughter of John Itha Caskey and Dollie (Harton) Caskey.
She married Wendell McGuire Feild on March 13, 1942. Mrs. Feild worked for many years in the insurance industry as an accountant. She also was a member of the Methodist church.
Surviving family members include daughter Connie Feild Loveall; two sons, Wendell Scott Feild and wife Cathy, and Craig Brent Feild and wife Nadine; six grandchildren, Chris Loveall, Candace Mueller and husband Travis, Ryan Loveall, Justin Feild and wife Alexandra, Brentney Hurley and husband Richard, and Kendall Farmer and husband Ben; and eight great-grandchildren.
Her husband preceded her in death in 1997.
Funeral services were conducted Nov. 27, 2011, at Sneed Funeral Chapel with Jim Shelborn officiating the services.
Burial followed at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Lake Victor.
