SYCAMORE – Services for James R Bailey, 67, who died Thursday [14 Jul 1960] in Sycamore Municipal Hospital, will be held at 1:30 pm, Monday in the Coultrip Funeral Home.
The Rev. Clark Holt, pastor of Eastwood (sic) Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Friends may call in the funeral home.
Mr. Bailey was born in Stewartsville, Ohio, son of Mahlon and Margaret Gray Bailey. He came to Sycamore in 1924 and had been employed as an electrician. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Sycamore American Legion post and Loyal Order of Moose.
Surviving are a brother, Clifford, of Sycamore, and four sisters.
