Mrs. Hattie [Alice] Butler, wife of Charles S. Butler, died Wednesday afternoon at her home near Poolesville, aged 78 years. She was a daughter of the late William and Julia Brunner and is survived by her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Francis Fisher, Barnesville; Mrs. Jennie Staub, at home, and Mrs. Mary Burner, Sellman; a son, George Butler, at home; one sister, Mrs. Clarence Creamer, Darnestown, and five grandchildren.

Mass will be said Saturday morning at 9:30 o'clock in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Barnesville. Interment will be in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville. William B. Hilton, funeral director.
