She was born October 12, 1911, in Oquawka to Loren and Minnie Hall.
Surviving are two friends, Edna Carlson and Maurine Ray of Abingdon, with who she made her home. She was preceded in death by one brother.
A teach in rural schools for 42 years, she taught at the former North school in Abingdon and Abingdon Grade School, retiring in 1975. She was a member of the Retired Teachers of Knox County.
She lived in Abingdon most of her life and graduated from Western Illinois Teachers College in Macomb.
She was of the Protestant faith.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Abingdon Cemetery. Ther will be no visitation. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Abingdon Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to Hedding Grade School Libary or the Hedding Grade School Second Grade Wing.
