"DIES IN OKLAHOMA

Mr. W. A. Mastin, of White Sulphur Springs, received a message Wednesday night of last week, from his sister, Mrs. Nannie Circle, at Alva, Oklahoma, announcing the death of their father, Mr. John A. Mastin.

Mr. Mastin was born and reared at White Sulphur Springs, and was married to Miss Mary J. Surber, there in the year 1850. To this union four children were born--W. A. Mastin, White Sulphur; J. T. Mastin, and Miss Lena R. Mastin, Stotesbury, Mo.; and Mrs. Nannie Circle, of Oklahoma.

"JOHN MASTIN DEAD

John Mastin, who formerly resided northwest, of Hazelton died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Andrew Circle at Alva, Oklahoma, Wednesday, September 29th, of cancer of the bowels.

He has been in failing health and a great suffer for several years.

He was born in West Virginia, November 23, 1829 and died at Alva, September 29, 1920, aged 90 years 11 months and 6 days.

He is survived by two sons, Thomas Mastin, of Missouri, and William Mastin, of West Virginia, and two daughters, Miss Lena Mastin, of Missouri and Mrs. Anna Circle of Alva, Okla. besides a host of friends.

Funeral services were conducted at Alva, Thursday, September 30th and the remains laid to rest in the Alva Cemetery.

Mrs. John McGee, of Kiowa attended the funeral."
