Died Saturday, June 18, 1977, at Baton Rouge General Hospital. He was a retired employe of the State Internal Revenue Service. Religious services at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Riser Funeral Home, Columbia. Burial in Welcome Home Cemetery, Grayson.

Survived by one son, Ivy D. Meredith III, Houston, Tex.; one daughter, Mrs. Mack (Penny) Hunt, St. Louis, Mo.; two grandchildren; three brothers, Willie I. Meredith, Grayson, Crafton D. Meredith, Monroe and Carey L. Meredith, Shreveport; one sister, Mrs. W. T. (Jewel) Robinson, Baton Rouge.
