Amirah "Jack" Farnsworth, 83, of 633 Nancy Ave. (Zanesville), died at 1:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon in Kuhn Nursing Home, where he had been a patient the past two weeks. He suffer a stroke a month ago.
He was a retired coal miner and came to zanesville twelve years ago from Morgan County.
Mr. Farnsworth was born at New Matamoras, April 18, 1874, a son of David and Catherine Beagle Farnsworth.His wife Alta preceded him in death, March 12, 1941.
Surviving are two daughters,Mrs. H, D. (Mira) Johnson of Marietta, and Mrs. Clarence Hivner with whom he made his home, nine grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
The body was moved to DeLong and Baker Funeral Home where friends may call today.
Services will be held Tuesday at 1 P.M.at the funeral home with Rev. Howard Buckley officiating.
Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery.
