Born in Clayton county, Iowa. Ingeborg married John Skadsem in 1890 in SD, she was 19 he was 28. Ingeborg and John had nine children; Oscar, Bernt (died age 2), Otilda, Ben, Rueben, Clarence, Martha, Lawrence, and Agnes (died in car accident age 14). They lived in Jasper, MN. John died age 51 and leaving Ingeborg to raise her small children alone. Ingeborg died 1958 age 87. They are both buried at Oslo Cemetery.
