Mrs. Norma Gray Palmore died Wednesday, March 25, with a paralytic stroke at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joe Garmon, in Elliott. She became suddenly ill on Saturday night, while she was visiting her sister, Mrs. O.H. Gentry, at Saybrook. She was born November 29, 1870, and died March 25, 1936, being 65 years, 3 months, 26 days of age at the time of her passing. She lived in Ford County 19 years with her daughter. She was married January 22, 1890, to Nathan Gray, Mud Camp, Kentucky. She is survived by 3 children: Eva Allen, St. Joseph, Missouri, Benton Gray, St. Joseph, Missouri, and Della Garmon, Elliott, 3 grandchildren: Edgar Allen, Avis Allen, Ina Pearl Garmon. The funeral was held at the Lamb Funeral Home at 2:00 Friday with the Rev. Milhouse, pastor of the United Brethren Church of Elliott, in charge.
