Gloria Lyndall Cazalas - devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, a 76 year-old lifelong resident of Mobile passed away at her home on Tuesday, December 13, 2011. A longtime civil servant, Mrs. Cazalas retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers after many years of service. She was a long and faithful active member of St. Dominic Catholic Church. She will be truly missed by all who knew her. Mrs. Cazalas was preceded in death by her parents, George and Dicie Lyndall. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, William A. Cazalas; children, Linda Davis (Steve), Tony Cazalas (Brenda), Kathy Cooley (Reede), David Cazalas, Michael Cazalas (Beth), and Karen Tew (Mallory); brother, Tommy Lyndall (Faye); 14 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. The family would like to offer the staff of Covenant Hospice a special thanks for all of their care and support. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Dominic Catholic Church on Friday, December 16, 2011 at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the church from 1 p.m. until the hour of the Mass.
