Thomas Hamilton Williams, a loving husband, father and grandfather passed away Wednesday evening, April 28, 2004 after a long battle with cancer. Tom was born September 14, 1937 in Jacksonville, Fl, the only son of Hamilton Dowling and Ruth Rains Williams
Tom made his home in Jacksonville where he lived and worked for most of his 66 years. After graduating from Andrew Jackson High School in 1955, Tom began a career in the finance and banking industry that spanned more than 40 years.
Tom worked for various financial institutions before retiring in 1997 from the SBA. Torn has been an active member of the Jacksonville. Bulldog Club since 1990 and a loyal Georgia Bulldog for most of his life.
He leaves behind a wife of more than 42 years, Sereda S. Williams, one son, Thomas S. Williams, a daughter- in-law, Robbin S. Williams, two grandchildren Thomas C. Williams and Ryan H. Williams and very special friends R. R. Alderton, Joan Tate and Carroll Tate as well as many other loving family members and friends.
Funeral services celebrating the life of Tom Williams will be held 11:00 am Monday, May 3, 2004, at Jacksonville Memory Gardens 111 Blanding Blvd. Orange Park, FL.

The viewing is scheduled for Sunday, May 2, 2004 from 2:00 pm- 4:00 pm also at Jacksonville Memory Gardens, all family and friends are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the American Cancer Society. Tom Williams will be missed by all, but his memory will live in the hearts of his family and friends always.
