CROSBYTON (Special) Services for Bettye Ruth Dendy Allam, 65, of Lubbock will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at Crosbyton Church of Christ with R.L. Richards officiating, and Terry Ellison assisting. Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m. in the City of Lubbock Cemetery.

Burial will be in City of Lubbock Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

She died Friday, July 2, 1999, at Covenant Medical Center.

She was born August 8, 1933, in Crosbyton. She married Dean Allam on Oct. 12, 1972, in Crosbyton. He died in 1988. She was a member of the Church of Christ and a past member of the National Music Association. she was a homemaker and a painter.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Mike Dendy.

Survivors include a son, Russell Edinburgh of McAdoo; two daughters, Pati Massie of Papillion, Neb., and Christi Richards of Clovis, N.M.; two brothers, Forest Dendy of Iredale, and Stiles Dendy of Humble; and eight grandchildren.
