This would be the son of Rowland Rideout and Judith Bedell. Birth date was 2 Aug 1740In the name of God,Amen.
I Benjamin Rideout of Wilton in the county of Hillsborough and state of New Hampshire, considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being in perfect mind and memory blessed be God fot the same,do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following: First and principally I commit my soul into the hands of my Redeemer and my body I commit to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my executor here after named--
and as to my temporal state I give and dispose of in manner and forem folling.
(?),I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Sarah Rideout of the same Wilton,county and state aforesaid, a certain part of my dwelling house,(viz). The east room on the ground floor with the privilege of the Kitchen fireplace and oven,together with the cellar chamber and well, with a sufficiency of fire wood well cut and brought into the house, and one good cow to be kept on the farm summer and winter. And further I order my executor when I shall hereafter appoint to provid all and every necessary both in sickness and in health fot the Sarh Ridout during her natural lif and a decent burial at death.

ITEM.I give to my son Jacob Rideout one hundred and seventy dollars,to be paid in one year after my decease with out interest
ITEM.I give to my daughter Sarah Bean,fifty dollars,fifty cents,to be paid in three years after my decease without interest.
ITEM. I give to my daughter Mary Wilkins eighty three dollars to be paid in three years after my decease without interest.
ITEM. I give to my daughter Dorothy Sergeant,Fifty dollars and fifty cents to be paid in four years after my decease without interest.
ITEM.I give to my daughter Susanna Currier,eighty three dollars to be paid in four years after my decease without interest.
ITEM. I give to my daughter Lucy Averill,eighty three dollars to be paid in five years after my decease without interest.

ITEM I give to my son Joel Rideout fifty dollars to be paid in two years after my decease without interest.
ITEM. I give to my son Amos Rideout thirty dollars to be paid in two years after my decease without interest.
And I further order that all my wearing apparel be equally divided amongst my five sons,David,Joshua,Joel,Jacob and Amos after my decease. And after the decease of my beloved wife, I give to my five daughters,Sarah,Dorothy,Lucy,Susannah and Mary all her wearing apparel and furniture that shall remain in the house of her at her decease. And I further order that my executor erect decent gravestone for me and my wife at our decease. And lastly as to all the rest,residue and remainder of all my real and personal estate,goods and chattels of whatever name and nature soever after paying all just debts. I give and bequeath the same to my son Joshua Rideout whom I hereby constitute & appoint sol executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made.
In witness whereof,I Hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty first day of February n the year of our Lord,one thousand eight hundred,and fifteen. Benjamin Rideout

Probat court in Amherst in said county,the 21st day of August, Anno Domini1817. the foregoing intstrument, (supporting)to be the last will and testament of Benjamin Rideout late of Wilton,in said county,deceased,being presented for Probate by Joshua Rideout,the Executor therein named,& Richard Gage & Isaac Spalding,two of the witnesses,whose names are thereto subscribed,appear and make solemn oath that they saw the said testator,sign,seal and hear him declare the said instrument to be his last will and testament that he was then to the best of their judgement of sound and disposing mind, and that they with Timothy Gray.
