Pernetta C. Hutcheson was born as the daughter of Richard C. and Nancy Isabell Wolf Hutcheson.

She, married, first, Archibald B. Hawkins and was the mother of a daughter, Sarah G. Hawkins, and a son, Benjamin F. Hawkins. Her husband soon died and is buried in the Hutcheson Cemetery which was on Pernetta's father's land though only three headstone are remaining there in 2010.

Pernetta then married Fielding Herron and this couple had a son, James Porter Herron. Fielding had previous marriages so James had many half siblings also living in the area. Fielding Herron is most likely also buried in the Hutcheson Cemetery. The son, James Porter Herron, had a first marriage to Elizabeth C. Talburt. They had three children, but only one daughter, Sarah, lived to adulthood. It is not known to me where Elizabeth C. Talburt Herron is buried. James then married Mary Ann Sale, daughter of Johnny and Margaret Gray Sale. He moved his surviving daughter and his second wife and family to Hill County TX and was there for the 1900 census. He and Mary Ann are buried in the Rio Vista Cemetery in Johnson, Co., TX, along with other famiy members.
