Benedict S. Bemowski, age 83, passed Dec. 13, 2003. A Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Hill-St. Theresa Chapel in Hartland, the Rev. Mark DeVelis officiating. Entombment in Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee. Born Oct. 31, 1920, in Stevens Point, son of the late to Ignatius and Katherine (Wroblewski) Bemowski. Married to Theresa Grubba on Oct. 17, 1942, in Stevens Point, she died Feb. 27, 1984. Employed at Lullabye in Stevens Point and Gould in Milwaukee, retired in April 1983. A member of St. Mary of the Hill Parish in Hartland. Survivors include two daughters, Beatrice (Donald) Sella, Hartford, and Rose Marie (Danny) Billings, Tampa, FL; one brother, Ted Bemowski, Redondo Beach, CA; five sisters, Sister Joselda Bemowski and Johanna Szymkowiak, both of Stevens Point, Theresa (Robert) Bushey, Tomahawk, Lucille Cleary, Lake Elsinore, CA, and Mary (Robert) Feltz, Prentice; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Also preceded in death by six brothers, Henry, Roman, Stanley, John, Gregory and Barney; two sisters, Grace Novak and Bernice Trader; and one grandson.
