He was born August 23, 1907 in Charleston to Wilford and and Sarah Ann Ritchie Wright. He married Mabel Wheeler October 19, 1931 in the Salt Lake Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He is survived by his wife of Springville; four son and one daughter: Richard Dean Wright, Springville; Kay Wright Harrell, Dallas, Texas; Dale Mervin Wright, Twin Falls, Idaho; Larry Wlford Wright, Woodland Hills; Calvin J. Wright, Nephi; 24 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
