Arthur Brownlow (Bud) Tissington, IV
Bud Tissington was a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. He was born in Mobile, AL on October 21, 1956 and died in Pensacola, FL on Dec. 13, 2011. He was a graduate of Davidson High School and The University of South Alabama, both in Mobile, AL. He was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, Pensacola, FL where he served as an Elder, worked with the Youth Group, Boy Scout Troop and participated in mission trips to Mexico and in the US. He was a volunteer at the Manna Food Bank. He worked for many years as an Environmental Specialist in the Health Services Department of the Florida Department of Health and had previously worked at the American Red Cross of Escambia County, FL. Bud was a kind, loving and helpful man who loved the Lord and his family, always going the extra mile to help anyone in need. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur B. Tissington III and his wife, Vicky Irby Tissington. He is survived by his son; James Grady Tissington of Pensacola; his mother, Martha B. Tissington; sisters, Martha (Charles Reed) Tissington and Bligh T. Jones all of Mobile and many other relatives and friends. A Service of Witness to the Resurrection will be held on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011 at Trinity Presbyterian Church of Pensacola at 10:00am. A reception will be held following the service in the church parlor. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the Trinity Presbyterian Church Youth Group, Boy Scouts of America Troop 608, Manna Food Bank or the American Red Cross.
