Mrs. Gladys Rae Cobb, 74, of Hometown, passed away Sept. 20, 2001, in Thomas Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Cobb is a lifelong resident of Putnam County, retired from the West Virginia Rehabilitation Center with 17 years of service, and attended Elizabeth Baptist Church, Bancroft.

She is survived by five children, James R. Cobb of Glasgow, Sharon K. Harmon of Fairplain, Oatis B. Cobb Jr. of Cross Creek, Debbie K. Witt of Red House, and Dottie A. Witt of Cross Lanes; one brother, Bob Coon of Fairmont, W.Va.; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Sunday at Gatens Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Bill Coon officiating.

Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Gardens, Red House, W.Va.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, at Gatens Funeral Home, Poca, W.Va.

As you enter Haven of Rest, the plot is to your far left, near the edge of the cemetery. You take the first sidewalk to your left, all the way pass the statue to the end. The grave is about 20 feet on your right along with her brothers and sister.
