Sophie Polus, age 69, of Toledo, died Saturday, June 4, 1994 at the Lake Park Hospital, after a lengthy Illness. Sophie was a filing clerk for 12 years at the former Kaiser-Jeep Plant. She was a member of St. Hyacinth Church and belonged to the Altar & Rosary Society and the Senior Citizens Club. Preceding her in death were her parents, Stanley and Stella Ponicki, her sister, Martha and her husband, Joseph Polus.
surviving is her loving daughter, Janice. Also survived by several nieces and nephews and special friends, Cheryl and Marty.
Friends may call at the Sujkowski & Son Funeral Horne, 3838 Airport Hwy., from 7.9 p m. on Tuesday and 2.9 p.m. Wednesday, where Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m followed by a Funeral Mass at 1030 a.m. in St Hyacinth Church. Recitation of the Rosary on Wednesday at 7 p.m. by the St. Hyacinth Perish St. Vincent de Paul Society. Burial In Calvary Cemetery.
