Mrs. Laura A. Bardo, 87, of Millville RD2, Pennsylvania, died at 8:20 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9, 1972, in the Bloomsburg Hospital in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. She was the widow of W. Ezra Bardo.

Born on Monday, December 29, 1884, in Greenwood Township, Columbia County, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of Ezra Thomas and Anna C. Johnson Thomas.

Mrs. Bardo was a member of Kitchen's United Methodist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Donald Black, with whom she lived; two brothers – Frank Johnston Thomas of Keyport, New Jersey, and Arthur C. Thomas of Nescopeck, Pennsylvania; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents, by her infant daughter Roena Ora Bardo, and by her brother Harold DeWitt Thomas.

The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 12, 1972, at Poust's Funeral Home, 179 E. Main Street, Millville, Pennsylvania 17846. The Rev. Donald W. Raffensperger, her pastor, will officiate.

Burial will be in Millville Cemetery.

Friends may call at Poust's Funeral Home from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, 1972.
