Florence M. Clark, 86

A former Liberty Township resident, Mrs. Florence M. Clark, 86, died at 12 noon Sunday at her Hartford City residence.

Born March 18, 1909 in Millgrove, she was a daughter of Thomas and Anna Inman Anguish. Her marriage March 24, 1941 in Hartford City was to Howard R. Clark, who died Sept. 27, 1976 [sic 1975].

Mrs. Clark retired as a reporter for the Warren Tribune. She attended Blackford High School and was a member of the Boehmer United Methodist Church, Order of Eastern Star, Independent Order of the Odd Fellows, Ladies Auxiliary Patricah Miliant, Ladies Encampment Auxiliary of the IOOF Lodge, and Rebekah Assembly IOOF.

Surviving are a son, Steven A. Clark of Bluffton; three sisters, Mrs. Eva Kerby and Mrs. Frank (Ruth) Farling of Hartford City, and Media Gillette of Chapman Lake; and a brother, Alvin Anguish of Pierceton.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Bergman-Glancy H. Brown & Son Funeral Home, Warren, where rites will be officiated by Rev. Barry Humble at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Burial will be in Mossburg Cemetery.
