Lowrance Services Held
Graveside services for Mrs. Margaret Aderholdt Lowrance, a native of Friars Point who died Tuesday night at the Methodist Hospital in Memphis, was held at 11 am today at Forest Hill Cemetery in Memphis. The Rev. John Sively officiated.
Mrs. Lowrance was the widow of a prominent Arkansas planter who died in 1953. She was 81.
She was a member of a well-known Southern family and had lived in Memphis most of her life. Her husband founded Lowrance Bros. & Co., plantation interests at Driver, Ark.
She was a member of the Cavalry Episcopal Church and was active in church affairs until her health failed.
Mrs. Lowrance leaves a daughter, Mrs. Armour C. Bowen of Memphis; two sons, Charles J. Lowrance, Jr. of Driver, Ark., and Chester Lowrance of Memphis; a sister, Mrs. James Bond of Brownsville, Tenn., and two half sisters, Mrs. Gladys Williams and Mrs. Shirley Pinson of Friars Point.
