Hazel V. Curtis, 88, of Boise passed away Thursday, May 8, 2008. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, May 10, 2008 at Cloverdale Memorial Park. Services are under the direction of Cloverdale Funeral Home. Hazel was born on Sept. 3, 1919 in St. Louis, Mo. to Arminda Ann and Lee Roy Huber. She started attending the schools in Manchester, Mo. and later moved to Fraser, Colo. where she attended high school. Hazel move to Boise in June 1950, working for Idaho First National Bank. She retired after 31 years of service. Hazel was a proud member of the Moose Lodge since 1960 and a member of the Better Business Women of Idaho. She loved spending her retirement years fishing and being a "snow bird" spending her winters in Yuma, Ariz. Hazel is preceded in death by her four husbands: Beryl Watts, Charles Myers, Melvin Curtis and Wayne Jenkins; her two sons, Charles Watts and Keith Myers; her daughter, Patricia Deadmond; grandchildren: Eldon Stacy, Arminda Page, and Melissa Selby. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Myers, her two stepchildren: Richard Curtis and Dee Eaton; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and her 17 great-great-grandchildren. Those wishing to honor Hazel's memory may do so by sending memorial contributions to the Moose Lodge #337, 8931 West Ardene Street, Boise, Idaho 83709 or to the Idaho American Cancer Society.
