Beth Marie (Olson) Colden passed away at home in Prairie du Sac, WI, on December 9, 2011. She was born in Monroe, WI, on October 9, 1953, to Elvira (Happy) and Roger (Bud) Olson. She graduated from Brodhead High School in 1971. On May 26, 1973, she and Ronald Colden were married at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Brodhead. They have made their home in Prairie du Sac since 1976. Beth worked for the Wisconsin Department of Revenue until the time of her passing. Beth is survived by her husband, Ron; daughter and son-in-law; grandson; brothers and sisters: Jim and Rosemary of Albany, Dan and Lorraine of Brodhead, Susan and Dick Oliver of Monticello, Evie and Keith Schwartzlow of Brodhead, and Gary of Janesville; her sister-in-law, Beverly Torkelson of Monroe; brother- and-sister-in-law, Gary and LuAnn Colden of Juda; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Beth was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Julie Ann; and in-laws, Julian and Iva Colden. DL NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 1105 E. 9th Avenue, Brodhead.
