Myra Platt Barney Adams was the daughter of Philo and Polly Platt. She married John Peary Barney on April 15, 1862. They had three children, Evaline, Bertha, and Ida Mae. Her husband John died in 1878; on September 30, 1882, she married Richard Adams. Myra died on May 8, 1912. Her last known residence was with her husband Richard at the Wisconsin Veteran's Home in Farmington, Waupaca, Wisconsin.
