JOSEPH ERNEST ABELL, 88, died May 25, 2011 at his home in Villa Hills. He was a retired plumbing Inspector for the State of Kentucky and a veteran of World War ll. He was a member of the Local Pipefitters Union 107 and active in square dancing clubs throughout Northern Kentucky. His wife Velma died in 2005. He is survived by his daughters, Mary Jo Cushing of Delhi, OH, Suzanne Gabennesch, Paula Weber, and Beth Manning of Villa Hills, KY. Sisters, Angie Morris and Nancy Jean Smith and sister-in law Juanita Howell of Louisville, KY; 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday May 28, 2011 from 9-10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2470 Lorraine Court, Crescent Springs, KY, Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. and Burial to follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, KY. Linnemann Family Funeral Homes and Cremation Center, Erlanger is serving the family.
