Our loving mother and grandmother Etta Ellison Jones, 84, passed away January 19, 1993 of natural causes incident to age.

Born November 3, 1908, Provo, Utah, to William Ellison and Lavina Dye Ellison. Married Vernon Armstrong Jones on August 19, 1927 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He passed away July 14, 1975.She served the Lord and her family all of her days. Member of the LDS Church. Served in Primary, MIA, Sunday School, Family History Extraction program and was an avid genealogist. Temple worker, Provo Temple. Was a legal secretary in Cedar City and executive secretary in Las Vegas for many years. Enjoyed her association with friends in Belva Zimm Club in Cedar City. Loved needlework.

Survived by sons, Kendall E. Jones, Las Vegas; Leon V. Jones, Norwalk, Calif.; daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Vernetta) Crawford, Wharfordsberg, Pennsylvania; Mrs. Donald J. (LaVenda) Milne, Salt Lake City; Jenyce Hellewell, Brigham City; 22 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren; and five great great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 23, 1993, 12 noon at the Brighton 2nd Ward Chapel, 2525 E. Bengal Blvd. (7600 So.). Friends may call at the Cannon Mortuary 2460 East 7600 So. Friday from 6-8 p.m. and from 11-11:45 a.m. the day of the service at the church. Interment Provo City Cemetery.
