Johnny Mixon, 59, of Corsicana, passed away Thursday, Oct. 18, 2007, in Dallas. He was born July 12, 1948, in Corsicana to Perlie and Mary Louise Higgins Mixon. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at New Chatfield Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Palmer officiating.He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bill Mixon and Wiley Mixon; and sister, Dorothy Bell. He is survived by his wife, Linda Mixon of Corsicana; son, Lance Mixon of Corsicana; daughter, Stacy McCarrell of Crandall; brothers, Leonard Mixon and wife Linda of Dawson and Perly Mixon Jr. and wife Frances of Corpus Christi; sisters, Frances Landers of Corsicana, Martha Howell and husband Raymond of Waxahachie and Helen Dunlap and husband Jackie of Corsicana; sister-in-law, Billie Mixon; granddaughters, Sierra McCarrell and Skylar Johnson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
