A memorial service will be held for Joseph Ambrose LeMay, of Kimball, at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 2, 2004 at the Cantrell Funeral Home of Kimball. The Reverend Robert Karnish will officiate. Cremation has taken place and burial of the remains will be in the Kimball Cemetery. If friends wish, they may make a donation to the Kimball Fire Department. Cantrell Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements.
Joseph died on December 19, 2003 in Kimball. Survivors include his wife, Florence of Kimball; a son, Larry Wayne and his wife Sondra LeMay of Gunnison, Colo.; daughters Delores Arlene and husband Dick Eberl of Grand Island, Neb.; Shirley Joanne McAhren of Hawthorne, Calif.; and Nancy Marie and husband Brad Walls of Kimball, Neb.; daughter-in-law Helen Mae LeMay of Arizona; and sister Mary Louise Seyb of Hutchinson, Kan. Seventeen grandchildren and thirty-two great grandchildren also survive.
Mr. LeMay was preceded in death by his first wife Amy Thompson in June of 1944; a son Richard LeMay; four brothers and one sister.
