Born in Uniondale, Pa., she lived in Schenectady most of her life. She also lived in the Hagaman area. Mrs. Claflin was married to the late Nathaniel W. Claflin. She was a member of Bellevue Reformed Church and was a member of the Church's Women's Bible Class.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Gilbert G. Otto of Amsterdam, Mrs. Herman D. Kluge of Fishkill; two sisters, Mrs. William J. Beck Sr. and Mrs. Bessie Dearstine both of
Schenectady; one granddaughter, Mrs. John W. Scheiber of Galway; four grandsons, James C. Otto of Ballston Lake, RD, Dr. David C. Otto of Goshen, Dr. Herman C. Kluge II of Fishkill, Robert Kluge of New York City; six step grand-children four great grandchildren and eight step great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home with the Rev. Fred Baumgardner, pastor of Bellevue Reformed Church officiating. Burial will be in Hagaman Cemetery.
