Requiem high mass will be sung at 9 a.m. today in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 909 E. Washington, for Mrs. Josephine P. Navarro, 79, long-time Phoenix resident.
Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery. Rosary was recited last night in the Whitney and Murphy Funeral Home.
Born in Mexico, Mrs. Navarro, who came to Phoenix 60 years ago, lived at 215 N. 11th St. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary parish.
She died Sunday in Good Samaritan Hospital.
She is survived by three sons, Ben and Ernest, both of Tucson, and David, Phoenix; a daughter, Mrs. Lydia Jaimes, Phoenix; 14 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.
