AMITY ~ The remains of Thos. Fishback that were laid in the Norris cemetery some 18 or 20 years ago, were exhumed by parties from Indianapolis last Friday and interred in the Hopewell cemetery.[cc]

Thomas Fishback, a former citizen of this county, died at Indianapolis last Wednesday.
Note ~ The 1880 U.S. Fed Census of Indianapolis, Marion Co Indiana records Thomas L. Fishback, 53, born Virginia, occupation Carpenter; wife Rachael, 37; with children: Mattie 12, Lorinda 10, Nettie 8, Cordelia 6 and Maggie 5 all born Indiana.
