COTTAGE GROVE — A graveside funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 26, at Fir Grove Cemetery in Cottage Grove for Mary Ida Lawrence of Cottage Grove, who died June 18 of age-related causes. She was 96.
She was born Dec. 20, 1912, in Faulkner, Kan., to Claude and Anna Wantland Dalby. She married William O. Lawrence on March 9, 1931, in Columbus, Kan. He died in 1995.
She lived in the Lane County area for 25 years, and was a homemaker.
Survivors are a daughter, Peggy Stokesberry of Cottage Grove; a son, William of Depoe Bay; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
