AMBROE, Christine C. Patterson 87, of St. Michael, Pa., died Oct. 29, 2010, at Select Specialty Hospital, Johnstown, Pa. Born Feb. 13, 1923, in South Fork, Pa., daughter of James S. and Christina (McIntyre) Patterson. Preceded in death by parents, husband, Vincent B. Ambroe, who died May 27, 2000, brothers, William, George, and James 'Butsy' Patterson. Survived by sister, Elizabeth, wife of Ken McNertney of St. Michael, Pa.; nieces, Christine, wife of Rev. Michael Bender of White Pigeon, Mch., and Cynthia, wife of Dr. Richard Clark of Ebensburg, Pa.; sister-in-law, Genevieve Patterson of St. Michael, Pa.; also numerous other special nieces and nephews. Christine worked as a plant scheduler at Antelope Valley Plant of Great Lakes Carbon Corporation in Rosamond, Calif. She was a charter member of Grace Church of Ebensburg. (Antelope Valley Press)
