Mrs. Robert McGowan died early Thursday morning at her home on South Main Street aged 56 years. Mrs. McGowan was formerly Miss Mary Callahan of an old & respected family in this section. She had been in failing health for 2 years & had sent the last winter in Arizona but had returned to Jersey Shore to spend her last days. She leaves her husband & a nephew Torrence Williamson who she raised from infancy.
