Aaron was the son of Isaac Egbert and Mary Lanning.
In 1838 he came with his parents to Buter Twp., Franklin County, Indiana where he married Almira Foster on 20 Dec 1851.
In about 1859 Aaron and his wife had settled on land near Pyatts Curve, just west of DuQuoin, Perry County, Illinois.
Aaron remained there the rest of his life and per Susan Patton is buried on land which was originally his own farm.
