Sunday afternoon graveside rites were conducted in Sunset Cemetery in Odessa for Robert McCorcle, a former Colorado City resident.
McCorcle, 60, died Saturday in his Odessa home from an apparent heart attack.
Born Feb. 25, 1912, in Burleson, McCorcle moved to Colorado City with his parents in 1928. He married Helen Stewart here. They have lived in Odessa several years.
Survivors are his wife of the Odessa home; five sons and daughters Charles McCorcle, Mrs. Carol Ann Autrey, Mrs. Janice Allen, Mrs. Hester Phillips, all of Odessa, and Bobby Dean McCorcle of California. Also, three sisters, Mrs Cora Jarman of Odessa, Mrs. Betty Curtis of Billingham, Wash., Mrs. Wesley Elliott of 745 East 10th Street; five brothers, F. C. McCorcle, Spenser of Odessa; Jack McCorcle of Del Rio, Milton McCorcle of Springfield, Mo., Don McCorcle of Richardson; a step-son, Bob Stewart of Odessa; and several grandchildren
