Mrs. Georgia Watson Lee, of a well known Georgia family, entered into rest at 9 a.m. Wednesday, August 29, 1917, at the family home in Thomson, Georgia after an extended illness. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at the residence with the Rev. W.H. Young of the Baptist church officiating. Interment will be in the Thomson Cemetery. Mrs. Lee, a native of McDuffie County, was intimately recognized in her lovable qualities, a Christian character, a gentle disposition, affectionate and at all times untiring and unselfish in her everyday life. Survivors include her husband, Mr. Oscar S. Lee, a well known businessman in Thomson; one daughter, Miss Georgia Lee, aged 10; her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Watson, and one brother, Mr. John Dunham Watson.
