ALLIANCE - Anna M. Hashman, 97, died Friday, May 18, 2001 at her home in Alliance. She was born February 28, 1904 in Delmont, S. D. to Fredrick and Elizabeth (Schied) Schwaderer.
On February 8, 1924 she married Lester Hashman in Hot Springs, S. D. She and her husband farmed west of Alliance for many years and she moved into Alliance in 1991. Her survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Gene Walker of Alliance, daughter-in-law, Lucille Hashman of Alliance, 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, son Robert, 14 brothers and sisters and one granddaughter. She was a member of St. John's United Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 22, 2001, at St. John's United Lutheran Church. The Reverend Paul Mottl will officiate. Burial will be in the Alliance Cemetery.
