HELEN BLANCHE LUCILE (BASHORE) TYNER
Helen B. Tyner, 85, of Wabash, Indiana, died Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at 8:35 am at the Wabash Skilled Care Center. Helen with long time husband Larry had lived on the South Side of Wabash. She was born January 28, 1922 in Warrington, Indiana to Rev. Jacob L. and Bessie P. (McGlennen) Bashore.
She first married Wayne Brandenburg in Sept. 1939; he preceeded her in death. Her second marriage was to Lawrence Harnish in 1952, he died in 1982. She then married Robert Tyner in 1993; that marriage was dissolved in May 2007.
She owned and operated the Cozy Corner Beauty Salon in Wabash 27 years. Helen was a 1938 graduate of Central High School of North Manchester, and a graduate of Marion Beauty College. She was a member of the Wabash Christian Church, but attended the Wabash Church of the Nazarene. Helen was a member of the national and local chapters of the AARP, serving on the executive board of the local chapter. She volunteered at the Wabash County Hospital and loved going to garage sales.
She is survived by her daughter, Diane Eshelman of North Manchester; two grandchildren, Debbie Laws of Leesburg, Florida, and Derrick Eshelman of Lagro; two great-grandchildren, Randy Laws of Weirsdale, Florida, and Racheal Laws of Leesburg; two great-great grandchildren, Katelynn Laws of Weirsdale, and Tyler Laws of Leesburg. She was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters.
